ISEPS PPE Coronavirus Buying Consortium

Many members of ISEPS have inquired about purchasing PPE supplies as offices across the state begin to reopen during the coronavirus pandemic.  We are pleased to announce the creation of a buying consortium for N95, KN95 and 3-ply disposable surgical masks.  ISEPS is partnering with our colleagues in New York State and Connecticut to achieve favorable pricing.  Our vendor is somebody we consider to be reliable, and documentation for the authenticity of these products has been provided to us. 

Items currently available are described below along with the price per piece.  Orders are per package.  Since this is a service to ISEPS members, we are not making a profit on this project; pricing and shipping is "at cost."

It is very likely that we will be placing additional orders with our suppliers, although a specific timetable has not yet been established.  In the future, we may consider adding gloves, hand sanitizer or other products, depending on availability, interest among members and pricing.

HOW TO ORDER 

 
Complete the online order form or phone in your order by calling the ISEPS office:  847-680-1666. 

We will need to have a physical shipping address and a contact person.  Payment with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) is required at the time of your order.  

Once the materials are received at the ISEPS office, we will prepare your order and -- depending on the size of your order -- we will send it by UPS Ground or US Postal Service priority mail, or you may come to the ISEPS office to pick up your supplies.  The cost of local shipping to your office will be charged to the credit card used for your original order.  If you wish to pick up your order, please add a comment to the notes section on the order form.  When the materials are received and ready to distribute, we will get in touch with the contact person you provided.

All of the supplies listed above are from vendors we consider to be reliable.  The N95 respirators are NIOSH-certified (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the CDC).  Photographs are actual or close representations of the products that will be shipped.

Masks are standard sizes... we are not able to order specific sizes at this time.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MASKS ARE SOLD ONLY IN UNOPENED PACKAGES, 20 pieces each for the N95 masks and 10 pieces each for the KN95 and 3-Ply.  On the order form, indicate how many packages you want (not how many masks).

These products are available only to members of the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons.  Ophthalmologists and/or practices not currently members of ISEPS may join the Society for the 2020 calendar year at a 50% discount.  Please contact the ISEPS office for details.
